Xiao Zhan.. 😊 Zhan ge.. This is my first time in my life that i wrote to a person /others without knowing each other.. It nothing much to say, just a thank you letter.. Thank you for your work that give me a smile when i used to be hopeless.. Its true.. You know , being in this medical field as a doctor.. its so tiring.. Back in 2021, for the first time, i heard you Zhan ge, covered a song “something just like this” For Beijing winter olympics.. I was so tired back then.. Coming home, crying and hopeless.. Well.. My patient died that day due to cancer.. Its a paliative treatment that we as health worker only can provide just a comfort care for him.. Without anything left.. I seen him passaway.. And that was the time when i was thinking, we human, are imperfect.. So when i came back home.. Searching for a comfort words, i saw you there.. Singing.. “I’ve been reading books of old The legends and the myths Achilles and his gold Hercules and his gifts Spider-Man’s control And Batman with his fists And clearly I don’t see myself upon that list But she said, “Where’d you wanna go? How much you wanna risk? I’m not lookin’ for somebody With some superhuman gifts Some superhero Some fairy-tale bliss Just something I can turn to Somebody I can kiss” I want something just like this..” I heard this song so many times before that.. But that day, it hits different.. This was the time when i’ve decided , oh.. This is where im gonna stay in my career.. This is where i gonna holding up.. Give others back as much as you can.. Even it is nothing.. So you know what happen next, the whole day then lits up, and i been humming that song .. Almost everyday.. Hahaha! 😂 And since then, i ve heard xiao zhan singing.. Made to love.. One of my favourite song, give me strenght just like that.. And then, in 2024, WM… I had the album with me..even i can believe this..for your known, i never buy an album before.. WM was my first album ever.. Then met Xiao zhan again trough “Shi Ying”, that show me the ‘unconditional love’ .. Met ” Sheng Yang” which then show me a hardwork never betray.. And of course.. “Wei Wu Xian” – Be who you trully are.. I know my heart.. And the list goes on..”Gu wei! ” “Xiao Chun Sheng.. “Guojing “Zhang hai.. “.. And here i am , fall in being your fans.. What else i can said.. Thank you Xiao zhan.. You made my day more meaningfull.. It true!! And here am i.. Still a doctor.. Striving, Trying my best.. To be alive. To stay being me.. thank you.. Dear Xiao Zhan,
I am writing this message with the sincerest gratitude and emotion to share a deeply personal and significant experience I’ve had with the song “Made for Love.” Since I first discovered it in August of last year, it has become much more than just a song to me; it has transformed into a warm embrace and a source of comfort during moments of solitude.
During a period when I spent many afternoons alone, the melody and, especially, the lyrics of “Made to Love” felt like the best conversations with a dear friend who wishes me well. I truly feel that Xiao Zhan, through his art, “embraced” me with this song, offering companionship and solace.
There is one particular line in the lyrics that resonates with me in an incredibly intimate and powerful way: “Use a pen to describe the connection between reality and memory.” This line, for me, is the “voice” of my mother. We were very close, and she always encouraged me to be resilient and to seek happiness in my achievements and to overcome life’s disappointments. I am a writer, with a passion for words since school (I even won awards for essays), and today I write online. Writing has become a true therapy for me, especially in her absence. This sentence perfectly encapsulates how I connect with her memory through my words. It’s a feeling that still gives me goosebumps to this day.
I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Xiao Zhan for continuing his work. Through his words, his actions, and his art, he communicates a noble character and a true heart that are truly inspiring. It is a blessing to witness and be touched by such authenticity.

In an early interview, you called it “an ordinary guy who accidentally set foot in the entertainment industry.” To us, it was no accident. It was your destiny, and as your Xiao Fei Xia, I’m so happy you answered that call.
Watching all your newer stages this year, you shone so bright! We are so proud of you! On stage, you’re in your elements and your passion and energy is so infectious. It makes us smile, cry happy tears, shout your name and pump our fists in the air cheering for you. Every time we see you, you always give us immense energy and drive to conquer our day. Repeating “我依然是肖战/I am still Xiao Zhan” like a mantra was your way to remind yourself that you are still you and to make it clear to those who know you that you are still the same Xiao Zhan that they knew from back in the day.

Since I took the dive 3 years ago into your shrimp bucket, the examples you set encouraged me to explore outside my comfort zone and find new interests and learn new things. And the best part is, my Chinese is now as close to fluent all thanks to translating your contents and watching your works! YESSSSS! Seeing you leave an old career and make a 180 degree trajectory turn onto a completely different path, it gave me the nudge I needed to change careers myself from healthcare to public relations. And what a ride it has been! It’s wild!! 😆…sans the vines and Tarzan… *psst*😏 Maybe you can be my Tarzan? 🤗 We can swing from the vines and our feet will never touch the ground. Back in the first half of 2015, when you were making your daily commute to work, your footsteps retracing the shadows of footprints left from the previous day, rushing with the masses to catch the same train, being pushed into a car with your face plastered against the door watching life flow by below…Your mind wandered and wondered if this was all life has in store for you, if this same routine day in and day out was all there is for you. Knowing in the next couple of minutes you will be sitting back at your desk rushing another design deadline and working into the wee hours of the night. Stressed was a word that you wished you can turn on its head into desserts.
As you watched the familiar scenes below you flow by, your mind drifted back to your university days. Standing on the stage, the lights shining on you, your peers cheering and shouting your name. The adrenaline pumping in your veins in time to the music, the warmth from the spotlight on your face as you sang out the first verse. You were seen. You felt seen. Your existence was acknowledged and remembered—They were shouting your name, cheering you on. You missed that feeling…and then reality hits, the speed of the train taking you far away from that fleeting time.
How many times were you overwhelmed with emotions on that train while in your nostalgic haze? How many times did you shed a few tears because you yearned to see a different sky? To break away from this routine? You wanted to climb.
And thankfully an idol survival show offered you that ladder.
And we, your XFX, are forever thankful that you took it.
I think back then, not even in your wildest dreams did you ever think you’d have a colossal fan following one day.
I am thankful that I discovered your existence back in the fall of 2020. I am thankful that my TV was turned to the right channel at the right time to catch your “Brightest Star In The Night Sky” performance. Since you entered the entertainment industry, you’ve become a guiding star to so many. Thank you for staying true to your original intentions. Thank you for never losing your special Xiao Zhan 有趣的灵魂 spark. 你依然是肖战！Thank you for your hard work, self-discipline, and dedication to every project that you tackle. You are right: whatever others can do, you can do too and you’ll do it even better!
