Dear Xiao Zhan,
This year, I’ll keep my letter short and sweet with a dash of geek. 🤓

You once said that you find your satisfaction through growth and you hope we can all grow together. You also once said you’re not perfect, and being perfect is not cute. In your quest to grow and level up, you’re always striving to be a better version of yourself everyday. Because of that, you exceeded the definition of perfect in our eyes.
You inspire us.
You never waited a single moment before diving into the spotlight. There’s never any doubts in your decisions. You always take the bull by its horns and rise up to the challenge, all preparations in place. You never miss an opportunity because you always work hard to be more than ready. Your willpower, your tenacity, your diligence, we see it all and following your journey has been so inspiring, so encouraging, so REAL. Since I took the dive 3 years ago into your shrimp bucket, the examples you set encouraged me to explore outside my comfort zone and find new interests and learn new things. Life has become more fulfilling, more colourful, more meaningful since knowing you. I have discovered new skills that I never knew I was capable of honing. And the best part is, my Chinese is now as close to fluent all thanks to translating your contents and watching your works! YESSSSS! I am no longer a clueless foreign banana anymore! ✊😆✊ I am cultured baby! 😁
Seeing you leave an old career and make a 180 degree trajectory turn onto a completely different path, it gave me the nudge I needed to change careers myself from healthcare to public relations. And what a ride it has been! It’s wild!! 😆…sans the vines and Tarzan… *psst*😏 Maybe you can be my Tarzan? 🤗 We can swing from the vines and our feet will never touch the ground. Just think Spiderman but from the jungle. 😁 Does that entice you enough? 哈哈哈
Happy 7th debut anniversary, Zhan Zhan. Here is a toast to you and your path! 🥂 May your path continue to be smooth sailing and may you reach your fullest potential in all your endeavours and celebrate new milestones along the way! Thank you for choosing the spotlight. Thank you for generously giving your light to the world. Your choice to enter the entertainment industry is a great gift to humanity. Thank you for improving the world just by being you, just by being our precious Zhan Zhan.
