As the seasons turn, we tell stories of passion; year after year, we walk together for the public good.

What is public welfare?

It is welcoming spring by nurturing new seedlings, fingertips stained with soil, palms reaching toward the light; It is joining together in summer to create a cool shelter, strangers meeting along the way, a smile enough to dispel the heat; It is shining upon the autumn harvest, sweet fruits gathered in abundance, their fragrance lingering on the lips; It is illuminating the lonely winter lamp, a single glimmer of light—yet already a thousand miles of road lie ahead.

As the four seasons take their turn, our footsteps never stop.

Where does kindness reside?

In the footsteps of “Rising at dawn to clear the weeds, returning home with the moon overhead”—coming beneath the stars and walking through the morning dew; In the echo of “With a close friend within the four seas, even the ends of the earth feel like neighbors”—sharing the same heartbeat across a thousand miles, never forgetting one another; In the countless people united by the belief that “many hands make light work, while a lone tree cannot stand against the storm”—in that moment when countless points of light come together to form a flowing river.

Time speaks not a word, yet it has etched everything into memory—the passionate heartbeat and the sincerity that has never cooled. As the years change, we are still here. This year, once again, with “public welfare” as our promise and “love” as our faith, we launch this citywide relay of blessings. Every time we reach out a hand, we move one step closer to our dreams; Every act of steadfastness helps pave the road toward a distant future.

Charity | Guided by the Actors Committee, Lighting Up Langjia Village and Spreading Warmth Together

China Federation of Radio and Television Associations – Actors Committee
September 14, 2026 · Beijing

One streetlight after another now illuminates the village at night, brightening the way home and bringing warmth to local residents.

On September 12, the charity streetlight initiative “Lighting Up Langjia Village, Spreading Warmth Together” was successfully completed and put into operation in Langjia Village, Xingsheng Township, Wuchang City. The project was carried out under the guidance of the China Federation of Radio and Television Associations’ Actors Committee, in collaboration with Xiao Zhan’s fan community, “Xiao Fei Xia.”

As part of the project, Xiao Zhan’s fans donated funds to purchase and install solar-powered streetlights along the village roads. This practical initiative has helped address the lack of nighttime lighting for residents and contributed to the development and beautification of the countryside.

Some rural roads in Langjia Village previously had no lighting at night. After dusk, the roads became completely dark, creating safety risks for residents travelling after dark. Upon learning of the situation, Xiao Zhan’s fan community, “Xiao Fei Xia,” initiated this charitable donation to purchase and install solar-powered streetlights.

This charitable initiative transformed fans’ love and support for their idol into goodwill that gives back to society, putting the principles of rational and responsible fandom into practice.

Responding to the practical needs of the countryside, the fan community provided assistance without seeking publicity or superficial attention. Instead, it focused on tangible results and visible improvements, contributing its share toward improving the lives of rural residents.

The streetlights have been installed in an orderly arrangement along the village roads. Powered by clean energy, they are environmentally friendly and energy-efficient, switching on automatically as night falls. They now provide safe lighting for villagers taking evening walks and for farmers returning home after working late.

Though the starlight may be faint, it can still illuminate the land.

These small streetlights carry an abundance of warmth. What they illuminate is not only the village roads, but also a broader social spirit of kindness and compassion.

We hope that more young people and communities will continue spreading love in the future, extending goodwill to more places where it is needed. May these small lights come together, allowing warmth and kindness to accompany us along the way.

Thank-You Letter

To Xiao Zhan’s fans, “Xiao Fei Xia”:

Thank you for generously donating 230 streetlights to the People’s Government of Xingsheng Township, Wuchang City.

Your enthusiasm for public welfare and your commitment to giving back to society demonstrate the positive energy and sense of social responsibility of fan communities in this new era.

May love and light accompany you, and may kindness travel far.

This certificate is hereby presented as an expression of our gratitude.

Official donation certificates issued by government agencies, organizations, and associations acknowledging the emergency relief supplies donated by Xiao Fei Xia (XFX) during the Guangxi flood relief efforts. The certificates confirm receipt of the donated supplies, which met the required quality and safety standards. Although these certificates cover donations made between July 8–11, XFX’s volunteer teams continued supporting disaster recovery efforts long after the floodwaters receded.

Since the devastating floods struck Guangxi, #XiaoZhan’s fans, XFX, have mobilized on an extraordinary scale to support disaster relief efforts.

Fan communities across China quickly organized donations of emergency supplies, delivering 195 tons of lime, along with disinfectants, gloves, rakes, buckets, and many other essential sanitation materials. They also donated satellite communication equipment to help rescue teams maintain reliable contact in areas where local mobile networks had been disrupted. At the same time, XFX communities overseas coordinated their own donations and support for the affected regions.

Their remarkable efforts have extended far beyond the fandom itself, earning widespread recognition from netizens, who have been deeply impressed by the speed, organization, efficiency, and professionalism demonstrated throughout the relief operations.

Their contributions have also received official acknowledgment. The Emergency Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, together with the Chinese Volunteers Association, published a special report highlighting XFX’s disaster relief efforts in Guigang, Guangxi. In addition, an article from the Actors’ Committee of the China Radio and Television Association praised Xiao Zhan’s fans for following the artist’s example in public welfare. It commended their dedication to flood relief efforts and recognized them as a positive model for modern fan communities—one that embodies kindness, responsibility, and a genuine commitment to society.

How inspiring must an artist be to motivate millions of people to come together, organize so effectively, and make such a meaningful difference for those in need?

Perhaps the greatest reflection of an artist is not only found in their own achievements, but also in the kindness, compassion, and sense of responsibility they inspire in millions of people.

Flood Relief and Rescue | When disaster strikes, help comes from all directions.

Xiao Zhan’s fans, Xiao Fei Xia (小飞侠), donated emergency flood relief supplies through the China Volunteer Service Association (中华志愿者协会) to Gangbei District, Guigang City (Guangxi).

The donated supplies include disinfectants and sanitizing products, drinking water, ready-to-eat food, and more than ten other categories of emergency relief materials.

The supplies were delivered directly to the disaster area by truck. The local Flood Control Command Headquarters completed the inventory and officially accepted the shipment. The materials will be distributed to affected residents as quickly as possible to support flood relief and rescue efforts.

In such a short amount of time, they printed messages on buckets and prepared banners customized to fit the lengths of different vehicle models.

They also managed to transport a large quantity of supplies to the disaster area. Since many roads in the affected areas were blocked, they had to confirm road conditions in advance, coordinate with relevant organizations, find suitable locations to receive and store the supplies, and track the entire process. There were countless details to manage. The Xiao Fei Xia Charity Team truly did an excellent job with their planning and execution.

Xiao Zhan’s fans have now raised over ¥1.3 million in donations for the flood-affected areas in Guangxi and Hubei.

There was no official fan support association organizing this effort—it was made possible entirely through the spontaneous contributions of countless individual fans who donated money and relief supplies.

According to rough estimates, the combined value of donated funds and materials has already exceeded ¥1.3 million. This figure does not yet include individual donations or the contributions from smaller city-based volunteer charity groups that have not yet been counted.

Compassion continues to pour in without stopping. Thank you to these kind-hearted Xiao Fei Xia (小飞侠, Xiao Zhan’s fans) 👍. Wishing the people in the disaster-stricken areas a swift recovery and the strength to get through this difficult time.

• 5 generators
• 5 sewage pumps
• 10 cartons of sanitary pads

In times of crisis, compassion endures.

May we all meet again in a brighter tomorrow.

Many residents of Guangxi expressed their gratitude to Xiao Zhan’s fans, XFX, for their timely aid and donations. Some posts and comments noted that XFX’s donations and disaster relief efforts were among the fastest to reach the affected areas, arriving alongside support from major corporations and organizations.

A civilian in one of the affected areas shared how moved they were by XFX’s good deeds and posted a photo showing that some of the emergency equipment currently still being used to assist the disaster area in Guangxi came from donations made by Xiao Zhan’s fans during his 33rd birthday charity event in 2024. The project name is visible on the boat.
