Nine years ago, in the spring of 2015, you picked up a phone call that changed the trajectory of your life forever. And eight years ago, you made your official debut in the entertainment industry. In an early interview, you called it “an ordinary guy who accidentally set foot in the entertainment industry.” To us, it was no accident. It was your destiny, and as your Xiao Fei Xia, I’m so happy you answered that call.
Watching all your newer stages this year, you shone so bright! We are so proud of you! On stage, you’re in your elements and your passion and energy is so infectious. It makes us smile, cry happy tears, shout your name and pump our fists in the air cheering for you. Every time we see you, you always give us immense energy and drive to conquer our day. Just the very thought that we exist in the same time as you, breathing the same air as you, appreciating the same moon as you is already a great motivator for us to do better and be better, and to take better care of ourselves because we want to continue on this journey with you for as long as we could. 小飞侠是肖战的！We are here to stay, we will never leave you! We will always be here chasing your starlight.
During your early years, you always began every vlog with “我依然是肖战/I am still Xiao Zhan.” We know you were worried the entertainment industry would change you. You were also worried that those who know you before you entered the industry would think you’ve changed. Repeating “我依然是肖战/I am still Xiao Zhan” like a mantra was your way to remind yourself that you are still you and to make it clear to those who know you that you are still the same Xiao Zhan that they knew from back in the day.
Now, after eight years had past, the only change came in the form of personal growth, and your character and outlook still remain the same.
Xiao Zhan, we thank you for sticking close to your original intention, remaining focused on your goals and personal growth and steadfast in your principles, relying on your hardwork and perseverance to forge your own path and establish your own value in the entertainment industry.
