Xiao Zhan recorded his part in Me and My Motherland on the same day he recorded My Chinese Heart. Led by Li Guyi and performed together with Xiao Zhan and 15 other young artists, this version holds special significance as it is the only time Li Guyi, the original singer, re-recorded the song and filmed a commemorative MV for the 70th anniversary. The MV was released on September 30, 2019.
