Synopsis

Between the heaven and earth and the four seas, there exists a sacred land called YunHuang where three ethnicities lived for generations: the Kong Sang Clans who wield the highest power throughout the land; the Merfolks who are descendants of the sea and considered inferior to Kong Sang people; the Ice Clan, a mysterious, isolated clan from the North where ten sorcerers convene to plot something dark and sinister against Kong Sang. Our story unfolds in the Imperial City of Kong Sang, JiaLan, where a Snowy Rosa blossomed a chance encounter between Zhu Yan, Princess of the Crimson Clan, and Shi Ying, Crown Prince of Kong Sang.

After rescuing Zhu Yan from punishment by his father’s wicked concubine, Lady Qiu Shui, Shi Ying was framed that very night by Qiu Shui. In order to save Shi Ying, his mother started a fire to fake Shi Ying’s death and smuggled him out of the palace. Shi Ying was secretly taken to Jiu Yi Mountain where he will begin his cultivation under the tutelage of Da Si Ming. Seeing the fire and learning what happened between QiuShui and the crown prince, Zhu Yan was overcome by grief and self blame. Once back at Crimson Residence in Ye City, a teary Zhu Yan took the Snowy Rosa and secretly made her offering to the spirit of the crown prince. Unbeknownst to her, this sacrificial ritual will forever intertwine her fate with the crown prince making her the bringer of his calamity.

Years past and Zhu Yan is still unable to forget about Shi Ying who had treated her with so much kindness and compassion, and she continues to seek out powerful teachers who could teach her magic to revive the dead. Since that fated night, Zhu Yan has made it her life’s mission to bring Shi Ying back to life. One day, Zhu Yan learned that there will be a Star Gazing Ceremony happening at Jiu Yi Mountain. Knowing this secluded mountain is famous for their powerful magic, there might be a chance someone would know how to bring Shi Ying back to life. And so, Zhu Yan quickly agrees to accompany her father to Jiu Yi Mountain. What happens when Zhu Yan and Shi Ying’s paths cross again? Will they be able to recognize each other?
